FROM PROBLEM TO FINISHED PRODUCT.
Role: UX Researcher
Tools: FigJam, Paper + Pencil

This is a project I tackled to show my research process and different artifacts and methodologies that I include across an entire product lifecycle from problem and ideation through launch and beyond.
My first step was to look at the problem at hand and create an initial hypothesis. I then brainstormed and mapped out my research plan with paper and pencil. I tend to think better this way, or through white boarding before moving to the computer.
Next, I moved into FigJam and began projecting how my role as a researcher would fit in with others on the team and what each role would take on on a high level. This way I was able to establish a timeline, agile project plan, and the need for a budget.
I dove into how I would incorporate design thinking, qualitative and quantitative iterative testing, and gather market data in form of competitive analysis to craft a value proposition.
The output included a user flow and very MVP wire frames. This process also included user interviews, usability testing, and collaboration as well as sign-off with the product managers, development, stakeholders, and others.
